Rockingham detectives on the hunt for knife wielding Spud Shed thief

STAFF members at the Spud Shed in Baldivis were held up at knifepoint this morning (August 22).

Rockingham Detectives are seeking information regarding the armed robbery.

Around 8am, a man was at the supermarket on Kerosene Lane, when staff members saw him put items into a bag he was carrying.

The man tried to leave the store without paying and a staff member confronted him.

Detectives claim the man produced a knife and threatened the staff member.

The man was seen leaving the store in a black hatchback, similar to a Ford Festiva or Holden Barina in size.

It is believed the number pates on the vehicle started with “1BMT” or “1BNT”.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may be able to help with the investigation.
