AN International Food Festival will be held on Rockingham’s Village Green on Friday, March 15, from 5pm to 9pm.
The Flinders Lane venue will be filled with flavours from around the world offered by about 20 food vendors.
There will also be a lively program of cultural performances from groups including Yonga Boys, Akwaaba Drumming, Rockingham Filipino Dancers and Peel Multicultural Association Persian Dancers.
Free children’s activities will be offered, inviting children to create paper lanterns, peg dolls or a family banner.
City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels said the festival had grown to be one of the biggest events on the City’s calendar.
Attendees are encouraged to use public transport, with services on the 555 bus route extended to 10pm, operating every 15 minutes.
Nearby parking is available at the Gary Holland Community Centre and behind the Rockingham Museum.
