ROCKINGHAM and Kwinana businesswomen are being encouraged to showcase their achievements, leadership and creativity as entries open for the 2017 Telstra Western Australian Business Women’s Awards.
The Awards champion women from diverse industries, ensuring their local success stories become part of the national conversation.
Telstra’s group executive Joe Pollard said the Awards offer a valuable opportunity to recognise the efforts and talents of outstanding businesswomen.
“The Telstra Business Women’s Awards exist because exceptional businesswomen deserve to be celebrated,” she said.
“Every year we see extraordinary businesswomen challenging the status quo across all industries and from throughout Australia.”
Rockingham-Kwinana Chamber of Commerce chief executive Tony Solin said the awards provided a wonderful opportunity for the community to spotlight the leadership and creativity of local businesswomen.
“I would urge our community to get behind our local businesswomen and either nominate them for the awards or encourage them to enter the awards program,” he said.
