The vehicle continued to drive through Warnbro, Port Kennedy and Waikiki.

It will be alleged the vehicle drove in a reckless manner by crossing to the incorrect side of the road, causing other road users to swerve.

The man abandoned the vehicle on Halyard Way in Waikiki and was arrested.

Rockingham Detectives charged Brodie Gavin Beard with reckless driving, failing to stop, no authority to drive and endangering the life/health of any person. He was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on May 9.
