A MAN will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court today charged with manslaughter in relation to a crash that resulted in the death of a three-month-old baby boy.
The 20-year-old was charged by Major Crash Investigators for allegedly driving recklessly on the Kwinana Freeway in Baldivis before crashing his maroon Holden sedan about 11.50pm on Friday, April 20.
Police will allege that the man drove in a dangerous manner southbound on the freeway before losing control of the car and crashing near the off ramp to Safety Bay Road.
As a result of the crash, the baby boy and his mother were flung from the car.
