He said Hamed began attacking a Suzuki Swift by smashing the car’s windows with his hands and feet before climbing onto the car’s roof and jumping up and down causing extensive damage.

A spokesperson from the dealership told police the car was a write-off with the damage bill totalling $17,485.

A car next to the Swift was also damaged during the attack receiving $500 worth of damage.

Magistrate Vivian Edwards asked Hamed why had attacked the car.

“It was so long ago… I agree with the police (account),” he said.

“Those days I was on the wrong medication.”

Magistrate Vivian Edwards placed him on a community release order of $1000 for the next six months.

“You must though pay $1000 for the breach of bail,” she added.
