PEARLS of the Sound will be launched for International Women’s Day.

The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce (RKCC) is seeking nominations for exceptional women in the region in the fields of business, community, personal and young achievers.

A ‘pearl’ is not necessarily a woman in a high profile community service role, but can be a woman who quietly goes about making a difference in the community.

Finalists will be awarded in the categories of Business Achievement, Personal Achievement, Community Achievement and Young Achievement for under 30s.

Nomination forms are available from the RKCC office and online at RKCC.

They will be accepted until 5pm, Wednesday, February 13.

The nominees, finalists and winners will be honoured at an IWD Lunch.

International guest speaker Nina Hobson, who is an undercover detective and motivational speaker, will challenge and inspire guests to push themselves outside of their boundaries and be active participants in the community.

WHAT: International Women’s Day Lunch.
