Rockingham: Pedestrian seriously injured after he was hit by a car

A male pedestrian is in a critical condition after he was struck with a vehicle in East Rockingham this morning.

The crash was just after 1am when a beige Toyota Avalon was driving south-west on Patterson Road. About 100m south of Charles Street (1km north of Ennis Road), the vehicle struck the man after he walked onto the road.

The 36-year-old Rockingham man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he is currently in a critical condition.
