Rockingham: police looking for two boys who allegedly snatched elderly woman’s bag

ROCKINGHAM Detectives would like to speak to two boys after an elderly woman was the victim of a bag-snatch.

The robbery occurred at the Council Avenue underpass near Rockingham City Shopping Centre on Thursday, June 23.

Detectives allege about 4.45pm two boys on bikes rode past an elderly woman and grabbed her handbag.

The woman was dragged to the ground during the incident.

The boys left on their bikes in possession of the woman’s brown leather handbag.
