ROCKINGHAM Detectives continue to seek the public’s assistance regarding three incidents involving a firearm that occurred on Tuesday, March 1.
It is believed all three incidents are linked.
The first incident occurred about 9am on Parkin Street in Rockingham.
The victim answered a knock at his door and was asked by a man to move his vehicle. When the victim went to move his vehicle he was approached by two other men, one who produced a firearm and demanded the keys to the vehicle. Fearing for his safety the victim handed over his keys and all three men drove off.
The vehicle, which has not been recovered, is a black Holden Commodore SV6 sedan with registration number 1DLB 655.
The man involved in this incident was described as dark skinned, about 26 to 27-years-old with a solid muscular build, short cropped black hair and well groomed facial hair.
He was wearing a black jumper with a zip up front that had a single white stripe down the right arm and a plain black t-shirt.
The second incident occurred about 7.50pm on Waterfront Parkway and Eldon Street in Shoalwater.
Two men were riding bicycles when they approached the victim’s vehicle. One of the men produced a firearm, tapped on the windscreen and asked the victim to wind down his window. The victim refused and drove off.
The third incident occurred about 8pm on Fisher Street and Jubilee Street in Rockingham.
The victim was parked in his vehicle when a man approached and tapped on the window. The man produced a firearm and demanded the
victim hand over his car keys. The man began to open to driver’s door, however the victim was able to drive away.
The man involved in the second incident was described as tanned skinned with a slim build and unshaven. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and dark shorts.
