Rockingham: police officer charged with rape to appear in court again on February 8

A POLICE sergeant charged with rape is free on bail and will reappear in court on February 8 for a committal mention.

Daniel Gerald Back, a sergeant attached to the Mandurah Police District, faced Rockingham Magistrates Court this morning charged with seven counts of aggravated sexual penetration.

The alleged incidents are said to have occurred at a private residence while the officer was off-duty on September 24.
