Rockingham: Police seek witnesses to serious crash

MAJOR Crash officers are investigating a traffic crash in Rockingham on Thursday, March 7.

A 79-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The crash was on Goddard Road near Leeuwin Parade at about 10.43am.

Police said a silver Nissan Pulsar, heading in a northerly direction on Goddard Road swerved to miss a bus at the bus stop. The Nissan Pulsar continued over the median strip and struck a silver Hyundai Tuscon heading in the other direction.

The passenger of the Tuscon, a 79-year-old female, sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Major Crash Investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the Silver Nissan Pulsar driving in the area prior to the crash or who have dash camera footage or CCTV of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at Crime Stoppers.
