“They lose apart of them instantly, which can be very difficult to deal with, with other cancer treatment stresses and procedures all occurring at the same time.

“This creates many self esteem issues and they feel they are not beautiful anymore.

“I am here to show them that regardless of their hair or lack there of, we can be beautiful anyway.”

Miss Vaughan-Williams plans to have her locks lopped as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.

“I feel it is my time to raise awareness and some much needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation,” she said.

“I personally know cancer touches way too many families and children and the tough journeys these families go through at these very difficult times.

“My story starts with my own Mother, Father, Poppy and Auntie who have all had cancer.

“One was not so lucky; one did lose all their hair however is all better and the others also had theirs removed and are all better too.”
