ROCKINGHAM Senior High School students have been learning interpersonal skills such as teamwork and altruism with a bike restoration program Life Cycle.

Students restore bicycles with student support officer Rocky Davis.

Rockingham Police Station donated the bikes and tools since the program started 12 months ago.

The next six bikes will go to the Lucy Saw Women’s Refuge Centre in Rockingham.

Mr Davis said he was contacting organisations such as Anglicare for future donations.

“We also use the bikes as an outreach program to our feeder schools to aid transition to high school,” he said.
