Rockingham volunteer honoured for 38-years service with Activ Foundation

ROCKINGHAM resident Jenny Rosser was honoured at the WA Volunteer Service Awards on Sunday, May 27.

Ms Rosser was recognised for her 38 years of service to the Activ Foundation.

She started volunteering with Activ as soon as she had qualified as a social trainer in 1980.

Ms Rosser has a passion for people living with disability and is a favourite volunteer for many Activ customers.

Volunteering Minister Mick Murray said the awards were to honour volunteers who each selflessly given their time, energy and commitment to a variety of causes and passions.

“Volunteers are extraordinary people who make outstanding social, economic and cultural contributions to WA that are worth billions of dollars every year,” he said.
