Rockingham Volunteer Sea Rescue Group wins big at VMRWA Awards

ROCKINGHAM Volunteer Sea Rescue Group is celebrating after winning two awards at the Department of Fire and Emergency Services Volunteer Marine Rescue WA Awards.

Jeff Howe won the VMRWA WA Award for Outstanding Group Operations.

Dan Goodlad received the VMRWA Commander’s Award for the Volunteer Marine Rescue Training Group.

Training Officer Graham Martin was a finalist in the Outstanding Individual Achievement for Training Award.

The awards honour the achievements of active marine rescue volunteers and groups for their outstanding efforts and dedication to duty, whether responding incidents or undertaking community education and awareness programs.
