THE RSPCA WA is encouraging people who capture images of animal cruelty to make a report, after a Rockingham woman captured images of what appears to be man kicking a dog.
Khloe Lefebure captured the images at a Warnbro bus stop on Monday.
She said was taking photos of the dog to post on the Lost Pets of Perth Facebook group.
“The group is really helpful. So when I saw this dog in danger I grabbed my phone to get a picture of the dog,” she said.
“Just as I was trying to get a better picture of him at the bus stop the guy kicked him.”
Ms Lefebure said the dog was not aggressive and there was no reason to kick him.
“If anything the dog looked excited, he was running round the bus stop sniffing people,” she said.
“Then as the dog approached this man I’d say he was about a meter away from him and the man just kicked him for no reason.
“The dog was only at the bus stop for about a minute because I saw him cross the road first.”
Ms Lefebure said she does not know where the dog is now.
“I called the ranger straight away they said they will call me with updates.”
An RSPCA WA spokeswoman encouraged people with information to call the cruelty line on 1300 278 3589 or complete an online cruelty report on their home page.
Both options are anonymous.
