Rocks and objects thrown at police during out of control gathering in Warnbro

ROCKS and objects were thrown at police when they attended an out of control gathering in Warnbro last night.

Police attended a house in Tucuma Court just after 9.30pm and saw a large number of youths entering the address.

Rocks were thrown at attending officers and the party was declared an out of control gathering just after 10pm.

Officers from the Regional Operations Group and local police assisted with dispersing the crowds to Warnbro Train Station, during which time more rocks and objects were thrown at officers.

Five arrests were made and people were charged with offences such as disorderly behaviour, street drinking and giving false details to Police. Three males and two females aged between 17 and 18 years of age will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
