THE Rotary Club of Rockingham is offering scholarships for an apprentice and a trainee.
The inaugural event is in recognition of the current economic climate and the low award rates for apprentices and trainees considering the ongoing expenses they have for training and work.
The club is offering $2500 for an apprentice and $2500 for a trainee.

READ NOWThe scholarship is to assist with some of these costs and can only be used for costs associated with their apprenticeship or traineeship.
A formal Awards Night will be held on April 30.
Applications close on April 11.
