Declan ByrneWeekend Kwinana Courier

A SAFETY Bay man has been charged after leading police on a dangerous pursuit through several southern suburbs yesterday morning.

The 21-year-old man, who was driving a silver Holden Statesman, was eventually stopped on Forrest Highway near Australind after a stinger was deployed.

He has been charged with failing to stop as well driving a motor vehicle in a manner that was inherently dangerous to escape pursuit.

He will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on May 25.
