Safety Bay Senior High School students immersed in driver’s education at Perth Motorplex

SAFETY Bay Senior High School year 10 students had some pre-driver lessons at Perth Motorplex in Kwinana.

About 30 students participated in presentations on road safety and legislation, the responsibility of drivers, roadworthiness of vehicles and how to behave in traffic.

Students also heard the powerful and sobering story of a road trauma survivor.

The session was finished off with a thrilling 10.8 second run of the Police Drag car down the straight.

Rockingham Police, the City of Rockingham, the Rotary Club of Mandurah City and School Drug Education and Road Aware participated in the event.
