GET ready to be dazzled at the 2018 Cheer-Dance Spectacular.

The spectacular showcases the talent of students in the Safety Bay Senior High School Cheer-Dance Specialist Program.

Cheer Dance Spectacular will feature Years 7 to 12 stutents performing cheerleading routines as well as ballet, pom, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, commercial jazz and contemporary dance.

Program coordinator Melissa Wiltshire encouraged parents, guardians and the local community come along and enjoy an entertaining night out.

“The Cheer Dance Spectacular is our big end-of-year show promoting all of the students’ hard work over the year for both the Specialist Program and the General Dance courses,” she said.

“Come see our Warriors team perform their winning Highest Scoring Overall routine from the Aussie Gold State Spectacular held earlier this month.”

Safety Bay Senior High School Dance Specialist teacher Elise Holton said it would be a night not to be missed.

“I am so proud of our girls, they have worked hard all year building their skills culminating in some fantastic routines that were highlighted at recent State championships,” she said.

“Plus see our group collaboration from the Youth on Health Festival that we participated in for the first time this year.

“We will also be presenting achievement awards to our most hard working and talented students.”
