SINGER and songwriter Ashlea Reale will perform at the Top Half Folk Festival in Alice Springs on June 9 to 12.

The Safety Bay Senior High School music teacher has been a prominent fixture in the WA folk scene since 2011, bringing local folklore to the forefront

Although convicts and outlaws are a favourite for Reale, her knack for storytelling shines through in stories of her own experiences.
