SINGER and songwriter Ashlea Reale will perform at the Top Half Folk Festival in Alice Springs on June 9 to 12.

The Safety Bay Senior High School music teacher has been a prominent fixture in the WA folk scene since 2011, bringing local folklore to the forefront

Although convicts and outlaws are a favourite for Reale, her knack for storytelling shines through in stories of her own experiences.

Her songwriting style displays her ability to combine humour with the heartfelt through clever melodic devices.

Ashlea’s music is both captivating and contagious, combining beautiful melodies with foot stomping rhythms.

On stage, her presence exudes a humble confidence that encompasses her well-rounded musicianship.

With a handful of instruments under her belt, her performances never cease to impress.

Previously one half of duo The Littlest Fox, Reale has performed at folk festivals Australia wide and gained international recognition in 2016 after embarking on her first European tour.
