From 10am to 2pm at Ridley Green in Medina, children will be able to have their face painted for free, ride bumper boats and visit the "cardboard city".

Halloween will be celebrated in Medina with a Festival Fair Day in Rhodes Park on Saturday, October 31.

From noon until 6pm the new festival location will be transformed into a free fairground with rides, performances and sheep shearing, log chopping, a giant spider web and trick or treating.

The council green on the corner of Gilmore Avenue and Sulphur Road will play host to a music festival for youth for the first time on Saturday, December 5, from 4pm to 6pm.

"We have spaced out the events in the lead-up to Christmas and are using new locations as we want the local community to get the most out of each event," Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams said.
