Secret Harbour: illegal ingredient being used in homemade skin cream

A SECRET Harbour resident has found a novel ingredient to add to their homemade skin-cream.

Miodrag Sekerac sent an endorsed guilty plea to Rockingham Magistrates Court on March 20 for one charge of cultivating a prohibited plant.

The prosecutor said police attended a Secret Harbour address on another matter and searched the property.

Sekerac led police to the rear of a shed where there was a 1.5m cannabis plant.

Police said Sekerac told them the plant was his and he was “solely responsible for the planting, growing and adding nutrients to the marijuana plant”.

Sekerac allegedly said he kept it “for the purpose of homemade skin cream”.

Magistrate Leanne Atkins fined him $400 and ordered the plant’s destruction.
