Sekerac led police to the rear of a shed where there was a 1.5m cannabis plant.
Police said Sekerac told them the plant was his and he was “solely responsible for the planting, growing and adding nutrients to the marijuana plant”.
Sekerac allegedly said he kept it “for the purpose of homemade skin cream”.
Magistrate Leanne Atkins fined him $400 and ordered the plant’s destruction.
