Secret Harbour Primary School concerns about lack of crossing guards on Warnbro Sound Avenue

PARENTS at Secret Harbour Primary School have been urged to take care getting their children to and from school because’ Warnbro Sound Avenue will be unmanned by traffic wardens indefinitely.

Principal Lisa Fletcher wrote to parents today, advising them of the lack of traffic wardens.

“During the school holidays the school was sent an email with the subject “unavailability of traffic wardens (Warnbro Sound Ave near Maratea Parade) Term 4’.

“This morning, on students’ first day back at school, there were no crossing guards on Warnbro Sound Ave.

“When we enquired how long this would be for, the response was “indefinite – the guards have left and we cannot get replacements.”

Parents were told they could express any concerns or ask questions by contacting Traffic Warden Management at the Police Department.
