Secret Harbour scouts in Life Cycle for CanTeen

SECRET Harbour Scout members will be getting on their bikes for a good cause.

They will use pedal power to raise money to help young people cope with cancer in their family.

The Life Cycle is the biggest fundraiser for CanTeen, which helps young people deal with their feelings about cancer and connect with other young people going through similar issues.

CanTeen also helps provide specialists and youth-specific treatments for young people diagnosed with cancer.

Scout leader Steve Dymond said the Life Cycle involved a ride from Port Kennedy to Waikiki. The cubs will take part in a 5km ride and the joeys will participate in activities on the foreshore.

The event in Waikiki is on November 25.
