CHARTER Hall has announced some of the retailers that will be part of the $58 million Secret Harbour Shopping Centre redevelopment.

The project works started in February and will deliver a major redevelopment of the existing centre, including the expansion of the existing Woolworths store and two new major retailers, Coles and Aldi.

At completion, new specialty retailers will include Red Dot, Rockmans, Sushi Master, The Lucky Charm, Sky Tree Massage and Secret Harbour Medical Centre.

Dome and Dancin Wok will open in the new casual dining precinct along Oasis Drive; McDonalds is due to open in late 2016, with additional new retailers to be announced soon.

The current stage of the redevelopment includes tiling and refurbishment works in the existing centre, followed by the expansion and refurbishment of the existing Woolworths supermarket, due for completion in late 2016.

The centre’s new carpark is now open and external development works continue, on track for completion in early 2017.

Charter Hall’s head of development John Courtney said he was proud to be investing in Secret Harbour Shopping Centre to deliver a more convenient, vibrant and enjoyable shopping experience for the community.

“With 75 per cent of total specialty retail space currently leased or under offer, we are excited to move into this next stage of works,” he said.

At completion, Secret Harbour Shopping Centre will include 30 new specialty stores, a new casual dining precinct along Oasis Drive, three full line supermarkets, an outdoor playground, state-of-the-art amenities, parent’s room and free WiFi.
