SETTLERS Primary School Year 1 student Claire Rogers had 35cm of hair cut for a good cause on Monday.
Claire decided to make a difference by cutting and donating her hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
Wigs cost families up to $6000, lasting one to two years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
Clare raised more than $1000 for Variety – the Children’s Charity.
