SEWAGE flowed into Lake Richmond yesterday afternoon after telecommunications workers drilled into a water main.
The spill occurred at the corner of Safety Bay Road and Lake Street at about 2.45pm after a crew working on mobile telecommunications accidentally hit a water main.
Waste water flowed onto the road and into nearby Lake Richmond, but Water Corporation crews responded quickly and stopped the leak at about 4pm.
