A second man joined him and they ran through the carpark of Shoalwater Shopping Centre while the pharmacist chased them.

When the pharmacist caught up to the men, one of them attempted to spray him with pepper spray.

He sprayed himself instead of the pharmacist, as the canister was facing the wrong way.

The second man then threatened the pharmacist with a knife and cut himself.

Both men were last seen running east along Afon Avenue toward Frederick Street.

They are described as 18 to 21 years of age, fair skinned and of medium builds.

They were both wearing black pants and black hooded jumpers with dark grey sleeves.
