The Salvation Army Baldivis Salvo’s Seconds opened at 13 Fifty Road recently offering affordable everyday items.

Shop co-ordinator Helen Langley said the store stocked a range of items including second-hand clothing for men, women, children and babies plus shoes, handbags, backpacks, toys and household items.

‘At present the shop is open on a fortnightly basis, until hopefully demand dictates it open a lot more,’ she said.

‘The idea has always been on the drawing board. In the past we have been selling the above items as a garage sale out of a tin shed which was very hot in summer and very cold in winter,’ she said.

‘The new shop is a great improvement and came into fruition with the help of a previous pastor and the ministry team who are a part of the decision making of the property.’

The shop opens every second Saturday and tomorrow from 9am to 1pm.
