WHILE other suburbs have zebra crossings, in Singleton on Monday it was all about the snake crossing.
Sharan Ward stopped her car to let “the longest dugite” she has ever seen cross the road.
Ms Ward didn’t get hiss-terical and captured the good natured snake on film.
The slithering serpent then gave a good night hiss and went about his business.
Ms Ward has lived in Australia for 18 years after moving here from England and doesn’t mind the Australian wildlife.
“I don’t mind (snakes) or spiders,” she said.
“You don’t need speed humps down this road.”
