“It’s got the best sunsets, they’re perfect.”

Mr Carter has been taking photos for about 17 years and enjoys taking photos of sunsets and birds.

Some of his snaps have gone around the world, such as a photo he took of a Bali volcano.

Mr Carter has both Canon and Nikon cameras and doesn’t think much of camera phones.

“I’d prefer a camera anytime,” he said.

“It’s disheartening taking photos with phones; they’re good but don’t quite do it.”

As well as photography, Mr Carter’s other hobby is painting.
