CATHERINE Jones of South Coast Baptist College School of Early Learning Child Care, Waikiki has been named WA State Winner – Early Childhood Director of the Year in this year’s Australian Family Magazine’s Early Education and Care Awards.
Selected from 1739 nominations and chosen from 99 finalists, Ms Jones along with three other WA finalists will now go on to represent WA at the national judging interviews to be held in Sydney next month.
The National Winners of each category will be announced at the Australian Family Early Education and Care Awards Gala on Friday June 16.

Nominations are accepted from both private and community programs including long day care, family day care, occasional care, preschool, early learning centres and school age care groups and is open to all levels of experience and qualification.
Prizes include more than $100,000 in prizes including more than $50,000 in training and professional development grants.
