ST Vincent’s School students dressed up as pirates today on Talk Like a Pirate Day and contributed to a good cause.

Pupils who dressed like pirates were asked to bring in buttons.

More than 5000 buttons were collected and will be donated to Jewish School Bialik College in Victoria. The Bialik Button Project is to honour the children who perished in the Holocaust. It is hoped 1.5 million buttons will be collected to create an artistic sculpture at the college.
