PEOPLE sleeping rough will be a bit warmer after the Salvation Army held a sleeping bag appeal.
Summit Realty Waikiki staff collected sleeping bags for the cause.
“We want to give something back and are committed to supporting the wellbeing, growth and development of our area,” staff member Adele Wilson said.
“Homelessness in WA impacts about 10,000 people and has increased more than 11 per cent since 2006.”
Summit Realty, Community REInvest and the Salvation Army are supporting people in need through ongoing co-operative initiatives.
