CREATING delicious masterpieces for the Royal Show was a piece of cake for Port Kennedy mother and daughter team Mary and Isabelle Milne.
The pair cleaned up in the Cookery Work competition, winning first and second prizes for their edible artistry.
Mrs Milne entered six Chocolate and Confectionery sections, ranging from Classical Moulded Chocolates, Rum balls, After Dinner Confectionery, Presentation Chocolate Boxes and a Free Expression Chocolate Creation piece. She received four first places, two seconds and a sash for exhibitor gaining most points.
Isabelle shares her mother’s passion for baking and creating in the kitchen.
She received a second place in the Junior Section (8-years and under) for her Decorated Biscuits. She made her Australian animal biscuits and decorated each one with different forms and techniques using icing. Isabelle also designed her presentation board with an animals habitat.
