Teen girls from Rockingham charged with bail offences after drug bust in East Perth

TWO teenage girls from Rockingham have been charged with breach of bail after a drug bust at an East Perth apartment block yesterday .

Perth Local Policing Team 4, acting upon information obtained from members of the public, searched the apartment block with the assistance of the Police Dog Squad, the Bike Squad and Local Policing Team 7.

During the searches, seven people were taken into custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.

Items seized included methylamphetamine, ecstasy, LSD, drug paraphernalia, jewellery, electronics and a quantity of cash.

Police would like to remind the community to continue to report any suspicious activity in their local area to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A 17-year-old girl from Port Kennedy and a 19-year-old woman from Warnbro were charged with breach of bail and are due to appear in the Perth Children’s Court today .

Four adults, aged from 18-years-old to 44-years-old have been summonsed to appear in court at a later date for drug related offences.
