Three charged over methylamphetamine and cash haul in Waikiki

ROCKINGHAM detectives have made arrests after launching an operation into illicit drug use in the area.

Three people were charged as a result of Operation Ocean Vanguard after Rockingham Detectives executed a search warrant in Waikiki on July 16.

Police allege that during the search at a Resolution Drive home they seized drugs and cash, along with a stolen Mitsubishi motor vehicle and a stolen motorcycle.

A 41-year-old Waikiki woman was charged with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply, wilfully destroying evidence, possessing stolen property (cash) and possessing methylamphetamine.

She appeared at Rockingham Magistrates Court today, where she was refused bail and remanded in custody.

Also arrested was a 44-year-old Waikiki man charged with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply, possessing stolen property (cash), possessing a stolen motorbike, possessing cannabis, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing methylamphetamine.

He will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on August 6.

A 31-year-old Baldivis woman was charged with possessing stolen property (cash), possessing methylamphetamine and possessing drug paraphernalia.

She will appear at Rockingham Magistrates Court at a later date.
