TRAIN services between Perth and Rockingham on the Mandurah line have been disrupted this afternoon.
According to a Transperth spokeswoman there has been a loss of overhead power along the line.
“Luckily all trains on the line were at station, so all passengers were able to get off trains at a platform,” she said.

Passengers stranded at train stations will be collected once replacement buses reach them.
Crews are onsite working on a solution.
Replacement buses are running from Elizabeth Quay Busport to Rockingham and to Mandurah.
Frustrated commuters have taken to social media to air their grievances, with many annoyed at a lack of signage or direction from Transit Officers upon arrival at Elizabeth Quay Busport.
Some were told to make their way to Perth Busport on Wellington Street instead, only to be informed that buses were in fact leaving from Elizabeth Quay.

Why is there no signage anywhere at Elizabeth Quay explaining what stand replacement buses are operating from?

I’ve been here for half an hour now outside at Bullcreek Station, others for longer. Two empty not-in-service buses sitting there waiting. No advisors telling us when buses will start running. Any chance of an update? I’d heard your services were bad, didn’t believe it till now! pic.twitter.com/Z7513vI9Am

This is a disgrace at Elizabeth Quay busport. Not enough staff. Chaos and confusion. Very poor disruption management.
