Troiano twins are brothers in arms

The stories of twins Michael and Trenten Troiano " both Lance Corporals in the Unit 11/28 Royal Western Australian Regiment " are part of the exhibition.

Michael lives in Baldivis and his brother in Kwinana.

"Answering the Call" includes participation in conflicts, peacekeeping missions and the stories of refugees fleeing war zones.

The thought-provoking multimedia exhibition will be held at the Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre in Kwinana until Sunday, May 24 and is free.

"The portraits in this exhibition represent the diversity of Kwinana's community, heritage and history," Mayor Carol Adams said.

The City will also provide a free outdoor movie on Saturday, May 2, on the corner of Chisham Square and Robbos Way.

Beneath the Hill is an M- rated Australian war movie based on the true story of Oliver Woodward and the 1st Australian Tunnelling Company at the Western Front.

To further celebrate the history of the area, an Our Heritage event will be held at Sloans Cottage in Leda on May 10 from 9am until noon.
