ROCKINGHAM and Kwinana foodies have been snubbed by Uber Eats with the food delivery service confirming they had no plans to expand in either area.
Uber Eats currently delivers to southern suburb Success all the way up north to Currambine.
An Uber Eats spokeswoman said the company would not offer services within Rockingham and Kwinana areas anytime soon.

READ NOW“We’re focused on enhancing services in the current service areas,” she said.
“There are no plans for further extension at the moment.”
However, Chamber of Commerce chief executive Tony Solin said it wasn’t a problem.
“Currently there are other food delivery providers so it isn’t an issue at this stage,” he said.
Owner of the Hog’s Breath franchise Glenn Sell, who has a cafe in Rockingham and has worked 15 years in the hospitality business, agreed.
He said he would not consider using the food delivery service.
“The commission is too high,” he said.
“I own all the franchises and by the time you pay staff to cook, you pay food costs and franchise fees, the pie gets smaller and smaller.
“When you are looking at 30 per cent commission, every time someone pays you for Uber Eats, you lose 30 cents off of that.”
Mr Sell said he would use Menu Log as a food delivery service with his business because he could use his own staff as delivery drivers.
“In my opinion Menu Log is good because the best person to drop off my food is my staff as they know and work for Hog’s Breath.
Latitude 32 duty manager George Staples said the ala carte, upmarket restaurant wouldn’t be the type of food venue affiliated with Uber Eats.
“No disrespect to Uber Eats but it’s not the direction we would go in,” he said.
Rockingham’s Rustico Tapas general manager Ashton Boaden agreed.
He said the service and atmosphere of the tapas venue wouldn’t suit the Uber Eats experience.
