In an attempt to improve service delivery and accessibility for light vehicle owners, the State Government has allowed select auto outlets to provide vehicle examinations on behalf of the Department of Transport.

Minister Dean Nalder said the department was continuing to drive more convenient access to services for customers through the expanded Authorised Inspection Stations (AIS) network.

“I am pleased to see a further 26 AIS partners will be working with the department’s vehicle examination centres, which will not only provide easy-to-access frontline services, but will provide more choice and convenience to customers,” he said.

Baldivis Kmart Tyre and Auto staff have undergone an extensive process of suitability assessment and training to become part of the expanded network.
