VIDEO: Big brawl at Secret Harbour shopping centre shocks shoppers

TWO police officers were injured after being called to a brawl involving about 30 youths outside Woolworths in Secret Harbour yesterday afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said a group of youths were fighting inside Secret Harbour Square, on Secret Harbour Boulevard, at about 4pm.

A video of the brawl was posted on the Real Residents of Secret Harbour Facebook page after someone said to avoid the shopping centre last night.

Shocked shoppers were seen milling around or trying to avoid the brawl.

Police believe this was a planned confrontation between several youths, with other youths deciding to accompany them.

During the incident three people were injured and treated at the Peel Health Campus.

A 52-year-old man who went to the assistance of a security guard received swelling and bruising to his eye and soreness to the back of his head and neck.

A police officer received bruising to his cheek and another police officer received bruising to his ribs.

A 21-year-old man from Warnbro is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Detectives are urging anyone who saw the melee, or who has vision of the incident to come forward and contact them.
