Jean Hall loves her garden, set up by the Volunteer Task Force.

Last week, Mrs Hall had eight volunteers working in her yard and they planted 33 shrubs.

They created a beautiful water wise garden, she said.

I just want to show my appreciation.

They even come back every three months to maintain the garden.

Mrs Hall said her garden now attracted pink and grey galahs, butcher birds and willy wagtails.

I love watching the birds, they make me laugh, she said.
