Mandurah Detectives charged the 29-year-old man after an incident in Cooloongup yesterday, in which an 11-year-old boy was knocked off his bike.

Detetives claim that around 3:30pm, the 11-year-old boy was riding his bicycle along Grange Drive, Cooloongup.

The boy was taken to Rockingham District Hospital by his family and police officers investigated the incident.

The boy did not receive any serious injuries.

Police attended a Waikiki home and a Jeep Grand Cherokee was located with damage consistent with the crash.

The car has been seized for forensic examination.
