WAIKIKI mother Megan Kemp will be taking the plunge out of a plane if she raises enough money for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia.
“I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year,” she said.
“I was up and down from the first day.
“I was worried about the kids [12-year-old twins] and it came as a total shock.
“There was no history of breast cancer in our family.”
After surgery, Ms Kemp is now in remission.
Ms Kemp works as a postie and thought “why not” when given the opportunity to support BCNA.
Her goal is to raise $2000 for the organisation and she plans to skydive in February.
