JEN Bogg from Waikiki has won a statewide Jesters Pie competition with her yummy chicken parmi pie.
The SuPIEstar competition called on members of the public to create a new and unique pie flavour to be sold in Jesters stores across WA.
Ms Bogg won out of almost 2000 entries with about 400 votes for her parmi pie recipe.
“I love chicken parmi’s and I love pies…what better way to bring my two loves together than by combining them,” she said.
“I also love to cook, but am pretty accident prone in the kitchen so I thought I would leave the cooking to Jesters and just sit back and enjoy the new flavour.”
Made with crumbed chicken breast, mashed potato, a Napolitana sauce and tasty cheese, this Australian pub favourite was made available in all Jesters stores from Tuesday, March 7.
Ms Bogg even gets a piece of the pie profits; she will get 50c for every chicken parmi pie sold.
