ROCKINGHAM police say this man (pictured on the left) can help them with their investigation after an incident where a bus driver was spat at and abused on March 20.

About 4.30pm a bus stopped in Warnbro and a man boarded, asking for a concession ticket.

Police said he was denied a concession ticket because he did not have a concession card. They further alleged the man verbally abused the driver.

Police said when the man was asked to leave the bus he reached behind the driver’s cage, took money and threw it at passengers on board.

They said he then stepped backwards and spat on the bus driver before getting off the bus.

Police have released images of a man who they believe can assist them with their investigation.

He is light-skinned, about 25 to 30 years old, approximately 175cm tall, of a medium build with short brown hair and stubble on his face.

He was last seen wearing a yellow fluoro shirt with a collar, black shorts and black work boots.
